| In this day and age it seems as though our children have become part of the "Technological Era". The complaint is no longer "Can I stay outside just a little while longer?" but has now become "I'll go out after I finish this game." They seem to be losing important social skills. Too much is too much and I feel that it is time to pull the plug on our kid's "cyber-displacement" and push them back into reality. |
Hi, Jenny! One little suggestion: Keep one eye on how this move effects the little guy's interactions with his peers. Life is a tapestry, and you can seldom pull on one string without it effecting the pattern in some other part of the picture. I guess what I'm really saying is, be alert for unintended consequences. Have to admire your effort, though. This is a big step that will get a kid's attention like no other!
