"A Day In The Life..."
Since Jordyn has learned to walk I really have had to be on my toes. Everything is a new adventure for her, but I have really enjoyed watching her learn and grow each day as she explores the world around her. :)
Wow, you've really hit on some universal truths here. I'm going to recommend this over on my site, and also to the "girls" in my life. Whether you have a kid, are a kid, or know a kid, these simple drawings have a lot to impart. We've raised three of our own, and are now having the time of our lives "influencing" four of our seven grandkids who are around the age of yours, and live right down the road.
So many people blog about their kids learning to put their pants on right side out, and it's just boring. Your comic strip approach makes my memory of "those days" kick in... Like when my eight-year old daughter used mom's makeup to paint a black eye on to get out of going to school. Anyway, this is good stuff, and I'm going to try to direct some traffic your way; this really will put a little smile on their faces. Nice work!
Hi Jenny! Great job on the pic's and the commentary...Some are funny, some bring back memories. I worked when my kids were little and my escape from the stress of 3 little ones and a full time job was in writing poetry. I use to make plans at work on my lunch break on how I'd clean and rearrange the house and play with the kids, etc. Never worked out because kids don't know about all that. They are just innocent and approach life in a curious manner. Good work and I'll be back. You might find my blog's interesting, one is "Across The Years" which is my life story and advice for my grandkids from Grammy, and the other one is "Squeakings of a House Mouse" where I post recipes and poetry and just generally like to chat with folks, or not. As the case may be. I want to wish you good luck and keep up the good work! (Jack is my husband by the way...) Bonnie
